A serial IT entrepreneur with a career focus on applying technologies to specific business problems. In the past 6 years, Mike has been working on building AI products that facilitate decision-making in the field of travel. Before founding Unikoom, Mike started SeamlessIT, a technology service provider, and co-founded Origin Technologies Group, an IT consultancy focusing on financial, medical, and biotech industries.
Born in Ukraine, Mike immigrated to the United States in 1992 and now lives in the Boston area.
Our team has developed Tripmaker, the first trip planner in what now has become a second wave of AI-powered travel assistants. Working on this product for a few years has allowed the team to create an original approach to travel planning with the focus on itinerary quality, its completeness, and traveler’s experience personalization. We’ve been positioned to create a unique technology and a viable business model before the fashion of connecting to generative models for a generic travel itinerary has become a way for companies to showcase AI use in travel planning. One of our technology’s main benefits is the ease of use and speed of getting results. In about 60 seconds a traveler can get an itinerary that includes daily schedules and maps, a list of must-see places in a city, top picks for your preferences, a budget, and even flights (hotel booking is coming soon).
